PANYA — FOR MANUFACTURERS

A REGIONAL PRESENCE
FOR EUROPEAN MANUFACTURERS.

Panya is an independent commercial representative for premium European manufacturers across the Middle East & Africa. Operated from Dubai, it gives a principal senior, continuous presence with the developers, operators, design practices and consultants who decide what gets specified — and stays involved through tender, approval and procurement.

01 — WHAT PANYA DOES

A manufacturer entering this region needs more than a price list and a distributor. It needs someone in the room while a scheme is being specified.

Panya represents a deliberately small number of principals, and works for each one in the market rather than from a distance. In practice that means knowing which hospitality and residential projects are taking shape, who is designing them and who will decide on the bathroom package; introducing the principal's products to those practices early enough to matter; answering the technical and commercial questions that come back; and remaining involved until the product is approved, tendered and ordered.

It also works the other way. A principal hears from Panya what is moving in the market, where its products are being considered, where they are at risk, and what the region needs from its range, documentation and lead times.

Panya does not buy, stock, resell, install or deliver product. Supply runs through the manufacturer and its appointed distribution partners; Panya's work is the commercial presence that creates and protects demand for it.

02 — TERRITORY

Operated from Dubai, across the Middle East & Africa.

Panya's work concentrates on the region's principal project markets. It operates from Dubai and travels to the projects; being active in a market does not mean keeping an office there.

03 — WHO PANYA WORKS WITH

The decision on a bathroom package is rarely made by one person, and it is rarely made once. Panya keeps the principal in front of each party that shapes it:

DEVELOPERSOWNERS · DEVELOPMENT TEAMS
OPERATORSBRAND STANDARDS · TECHNICAL SERVICES
DESIGNARCHITECTS · INTERIOR DESIGNERS
CONSULTANTSMEP · COST · PROJECT MANAGEMENT
DELIVERYCONTRACTORS · PROCUREMENT

04 — FROM INTRODUCTION TO ORDER

Representation is a sequence, and most of the value is lost at the joins between stages. Panya's involvement runs through all of them:

01

MARKET INTRODUCTION

Presenting the principal and its range to the practices and developers who carry the region's schemes, before a specification is written.

EARLY DESIGN
02

SPECIFICATION

Supporting the design team in selecting the right products and getting them written into the specification accurately.

DESIGN → SPECIFICATION
03

TECHNICAL REVIEW

Technical data, drawings, samples and mock-ups, and the answers consultants need before they approve.

SPECIFICATION → SUBMITTAL
04

TENDER

Holding the specification through pricing, clarifications and the alternatives that value engineering invites.

TENDER → VALUE ENGINEERING
05

APPROVAL & PROCUREMENT

Coordinating between contractor, distribution partner and principal until the approved product is ordered.

APPROVAL → ORDER
06

FOLLOW-THROUGH

Staying on the project through production and delivery questions, and carrying what was learned into the next scheme.

ORDER → HANDOVER

05 — PRINCIPALS AND REFERENCES

Panya currently represents two European principals, each with a regional page of its own:

Both principals publish the relationship themselves. Kaldewei's international locations directory names Panya's Sergey Kokarev as its contact for the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and Zucchetti's sales network lists Panya Consulting as its agency in the region.

Selected hospitality and residential references in Dubai, Kuwait City and Doha are on the projects page.

06 — WHO LEADS THE RELATIONSHIP

Every principal relationship is led personally by Sergey Kokarev, Panya's Founder & Managing Director. A principal deals with one senior person who knows its range, its commercial terms and the projects it is being considered for — not with an account handed down a structure.

07 — REPRESENTATION AND DISTRIBUTION

Representation does not replace distribution; the two do different jobs. A distribution partner holds stock, imports, invoices, delivers and supports the product after installation. Panya works upstream of that, where the product is chosen, and alongside it through tender, so that demand created at specification arrives at the distributor as an order.

Where a principal is already distributed in a market, Panya's work is built to strengthen that channel, not to compete with it. Where it is not, the question of which partner, in which market and on what basis is part of the conversation. There is more on that choice in Agent, distributor or both: how European manufacturers enter the GCC.

CONSIDERING THE
MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA?

If you are a European manufacturer weighing regional representation, the first conversation is with Sergey Kokarev directly.
